All our rooms are equipped with Air conditioning. You can set the temperature as per your convenience. Please use the white remote control to set the air conditioning. If you need any assistance or you have questions about the system, please contact our reception team for help.
The closest ATM is located a few hundred meters down Rimska street. Please ask our reception to show you the location on the city map.
Airport (Ljubljana, Letališče Jožeta Pučnika)
Ljubljana airport (Letališče Jožeta Pučnika) is about 28km away from the hotel and it takes 25 – 35 minutes by car. If you would like us to arrange for an airport transfer, the reception team is more than happy to help you in this matter. In-advance arranged transfers are more convenient than taking those standing at the airport. Our reception team will also help you organize transfers from/to other airports in the area (Venice, Triest, Zagreb, etc.).
We have some baby cots available. Please contact our reception, if you need one.
A good night’s sleep is very important. For this reason, our comfortable beds are Slovenian product and are made of high quality latex and spring recess that gently surrounds bodyweight, including with comfort and breathability.
You can rent a bike at our reception or in advance, before your arrival via email (firstname.lastname@example.org). You can also rent BICIKELJ (Ljubljana city bikes) just around the corner. Our reception team will help you to find the best possible solution that suits your needs & budget. Including tips for routes in and around Ljubljana.

Breakfast is very important to our team. It consists of freshly-prepared cold and warm dishes and dishes prepared upon request. Extra charge for outside guests. Should you have any diet or health-connected issues, we will provide you breakfast items that suit your needs; upon request.
There are several possibilities regarding car parking in the Hotel Mrak area. You may:
- Book in advance and park your car in front of the Hotel Mrak; extra charge will be applied because the hotel is also paying/renting parking places to the community of Ljubljana
- Park your car in the Rimska street where you have parking places for which you can pay at a parking meter for a maximum of 2 hours. You have to pay your hourly fee from Monday – Friday 7.00 a.m.–19.00 p.m. and Saturdays from 7h–15h. If you do not pay the parking fee, there is a big chance that you get a ticket as a penalty
- Park your car in the parking lot (Križanke) or
- Park your car in the parking garage Kongresni trg.

Check in is from 14.00 p.m. Should you need your room earlier, please check availability in advance. Additional charges may apply for early check-in and accommodation.
Check out time is until 11.00 a.m. The reception team will assist you to store your luggage if you would like to spend more time in town before going to the airport. If you require a later check out or wish to extend your stay, please contact reception. Additional charges may apply for extended stay or late check out from the hotel. In any case, our reception team will store your luggage and help you with some useful tips about Ljubljana.
Our reception team assists with all your requests and wishes, such as table bookings, restaurant recommendations, flower and sweets arrangements, theatre and museum tickets as well as mailing your correspondence.

Our reception team will assist you in organizing a sightseeing walking tour for individuals or groups in several languages as well as bike tours in Ljubljana surroundings.

Damage to hotel property
Damaged hotel property or extra cleaning of the hotel room or other hotel premises will be charged as damage service fee/ compensation. You pay the invoice at the front desk.
Do not disturb sign
In case you do not wish to be disturbed, please leave the “Do not disturb” sign on the outside doorknob. If you do not want to receive any telephone calls, please inform the reception. Internal room-to-room calls cannot be prevented.

Events in Ljubljana
Events take place in Ljubljana all year round. Our reception team will assist you in finding the right event at the right time.
Fire safety in the Hotel Mrak
Upon arrival, check your room location and read the fire safety instructions in the room. Please also check the fire extinguisher location.
There is a dust extinguisher in the hall on each floor, where you can extinguish all types of small fires. Please use fire extinguishers according to the instructions; abuse is charged. There is also a floor plan with all the exits marked in your room.
Upon arrival at your hotel room, look at the fire safety instructions. Please check the location of your room in the building, all the possible ways out and location of the fire extinguisher. In case of fire, do not use the elevator.
All rooms are equipped with a hair dryer in the bathrooms.
Half board/ Lunch or Dinner supplement
Although our prices are mostly based on Bed & Breakfast services, we can upon request prepare a half board, full board or other Food & Beverage services (lunch, dinner, catering during coffee breaks, take away packages, etc.). We set the menu upon your request. For individuals or groups.
Our Housekeeping team is at your service at all times. Should you require anti-allergy pillows and blankets, an extra towel, an extra pillow, an extra blanket or an ironing board & iron please let us know. Please be careful when using an iron in the room in order not to cause a fire. For an extra cleaning service of your room, please contact the reception.
Sewing kits, slippers, bathrobes or bathroom chairs are also available upon request; extra charges may apply. Please contact the reception team for them.
Internet connection is available in the hotel with no extra charge. If you experience any problems with your connection, please contact reception.

Iron and ironing board
Please contact the reception if you wish to have the iron and ironing board delivered to your room.
We can provide you with an ironing service, so please tick in the appropriate box on the laundry list, found in your wardrobe. The costs for the ironing service is on the list. Talk to our reception in order to define the right schedule for the ironing service that suits your needs.
Laundry service is available (Mon–Sun). Please leave your laundry on the bed in the laundry bag for Housekeeping to collect and you will receive your freshly-cleaned laundry by 6 pm the following day. If you require your laundry back before 9.00 am the following day, please bring it to the reception desk before 9.00 am. Laundry bags, as well as the price lists, are in the wardrobe in your room
Because we care about the environment, we change linen every third day if you are staying longer. Should you need a daily change, please contact reception. We change all towels, which you can leave on the floor in the bathroom.
Lost & Found
Before you leave, make sure you don’t forget anything. All found items are kept for 3 months. Please contact our reception or send a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org if you are missing something.
Our lobby bar is open 24h/7. In our lobby bar, we do offer you a selection of drinks. You can find the price list of our Lobby bar in the appendix to this guest directory, which you will find in your room.
The closest Pharmacy is located across the Slovenska street in Gregorčičeva street. For more information, please contact our reception. Should you need a doctor, please contact our reception team.
There is a meeting room at your disposal. For reservation, set up and pricing, please contact our management. If you are thinking about a special event during the summer season, our inside Garden is also available upon prior agreement.

Public transport in Ljubljana
To use city public transport in Ljubljana it is necessary to buy an URBANA card, which you can buy in the nearest tobacco shop, just across the Slovenska street or in all post offices. For other public transport and its schedules, please contact our reception team for advice.

Our hotel restaurant is open upon request and advanced booking. For groups or individuals. Seasonal and local menus are available upon advance agreement. We are happy to assist you in organizing lunch, dinner, a coffee break or special event with the Food & Beverage services.
There are also many excellent restaurants in Slovenija and in the capital Ljubljana. Slovenija is known as a culinary/gastronomy destination. Depending on the budget and type of food you are looking for, our reception team will give you the best recommendations.

All rooms are equipped with a minibar and a kettle.

Safe deposit box
All our rooms are equipped with an in-room safe (laptop size). You can find it in your main wardrobe. Please follow the instructions on the front side of the safe or open the safe with the key you get upon check in. The hotel does not take responsibility for money and any other valuable items not placed in the in-room safe. Please ensure that your door is always locked securely upon leaving your room. Money and valuables can be delivered to the central safe at the reception.
Shoe-polishing machine is on the ground-floor corridor. You may also ask for an extra shoe polishing kit at the front desk.
Shopping in Ljubljana
You may find several shops in the Ljubljana center or in BTC, which is our shopping center just a 10-minute drive from the hotel. For advice, please contact our reception team.
Smoking Policy (Non Smoking hotel)
Smoking is not permitted within the hotel ground-floor facilities as well as in bedrooms. Smoking is not permitted in Slovenija in all public places, therefore, our hotel is a non-smoking property. Any smoking in the room will be charged as damage.
If you wish to do outdoor or indoor activities, there are plenty of possibilities. We can help you in renting a bicycle or other equipment and give tips on what sports to do in the area.
